We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Iowa this year and we got to see most of Jeff's family (we missed our Katie!). The weather was pretty nice and we were able to go down to Nauvoo for a day. We should have taken two days to see Nauvoo and Carthage because there is just too much to see in so little time! We weren't able to make it to Carthage this time but it is a wonderful experience to anyone who hasn't been there! Cambree loved the horse and carriage ride around the back area of Nauvoo. The old bake shop was open and we got to sample the ginger bread cookies! Cambree got her little horseshoe at the blacksmith shop and like always we got our Nauvoo brick!!! I think we will save up each time we go and build our fire place out of them some day!
Jeff's mom is an amazing cook and we had wonderful home cookin!!! The boys went on a shootin trip in the back woods and had a blast! Cambree had fun with her cousins Ellia and Beck and now really misses them. She also says she misses her Gramo and Papo!
